Introduction
The Caledonia is situated on a side road (Athenaeum Street) with a small step leading from the pavement to the front door. A temporary ramp is provided for wheelchair/mobility guests. The following is a summary of our provision.

Pre-Arrival
Plymouth railway station is an approx. 15-20 min walk. There is a local taxi service (01752 229052) that has accessible taxis if required. We can make a booking for you. Brochures and Menus can be provided in large print or Braille by prior arrangement. We have a Website and you can also contact us by phone or email (details below).

Arrival & Car Parking Facilities
On street pay and display parking is available at the front of the house. A small step (30mm) from the pavement has a level concrete path (approx. 2m x 1m) to the front door. A small step (60mm) leads into the house. A ramp is available on request plus provision to unload from vehicles can be made with prior arrangement.
Our own car park is situated and signposted at the rear of the house with 6 designated parking spaces and is lit at night. No access is available from the rear of the house. Our business phone number is displayed on the front signage.

Main Entrance & Reception
Our front door leads into the carpeted main hallway/reception.

Public Areas - General (Internal)
From the hallway to room 2 are 11 carpeted stairs with handrail to level landing plus another 4 carpeted stairs with handrail. The first floor rooms have an additional 7 stairs which are carpeted and have a handrail. Main entrance, hallway and staircase are well lit.

Public Areas - WC
6 bedrooms are ensuite and a shared bathroom with wc is on the top floor of the house (38 stairs from ground floor).

Dining Room
Dining room is located on the ground floor off the main hallway.
Our ground floor bedroom is available for our elderly/less able guests (with assistance). Wheelchair access is available. All bedrooms have Freeview tv. Special dietary requirements can be made with prior arrangement. All rooms are non-smoking. Dogs are not allowed.

Ground Floor Room
A shower chair can be provided with own guest assistance in ground floor room.

Additional Information
Mobile phone reception is generally good. Wifi connection is generally good. The fire alarm rings continuously if evacuation is required. We offer assistance for safe evacuation. We are happy to take delivery of hired equipment (please let us know of order number, telephone number of hire company and delivery time).
We are a no smoking building.
Medication/special dietary food may be placed in the kitchen fridge.
